About
A software developer who builds hardware, and is making it the main job.
I've worked professionally as a full-stack developer since 2021, building web applications, APIs and business systems. Over the same years, more and more of my own work moved from the screen to the workbench.
The first device I built for real use was TimeBell, a bell controller that has run a school's timetable for about five years. Then came Beastie Checkpoint, an attendance terminal where I designed the PCB, wrote the firmware and built the backend and web app. It was used daily at a workplace for about two years.
Cars took me into automotive electronics. My NINAinstrument cluster for a 1990 Yugo 55 meant dealing with ignition noise, non-linear senders and 12 V transients, and it has been installed and road-tested. I'm now designing an STM32G474-based ECU to work through power stages, CAN, sensor conditioning and injector and ignition drivers. I also repair electronics at component level, including automotive ECUs and laptop motherboards.
I hold a master's degree in Informatics and I'm currently a PhD student. I'm looking for a junior role in embedded software, firmware, hardware or hardware validation, where I can do this work full-time alongside experienced engineers. My software background is a real strength there: I'm comfortable with version control, structured code and the backend systems that devices connect to.
